Upon learning he'd been eliminated, Jake addressed his fans: "I was so honored to be here... Thank you for keeping me here for six episodes." He said he came to consider the judges, the cast and the crew a part of his family. He whispered "It's O.K." to his crestfallen fiance Vienna, who was watching from the audience.
"Thank you so much Chelsie. You're one of my best friends," a crying Jake told his dance partner. "I have loved every second of this."

Aas the series goes on, the prospective winner is becoming less and less obvious. Nicole Scherzinger obviously shone right from the beginning but Chad Ochocinco, who nobody had much noticed at first, seems to be getting better and better. Indeed it was Ochocinco's tango from the previous night that the judges chose to watch again.
